7.spraying process

1. Unpack the alkyd anti-rust paint, add an appropriate amount of alkyd thinner, stir well, mature and let stand for about 3 to 5 minutes.

2. The surface of the coated object is sandblasted and cleaned to reach Sa2.5 level, and the surface has a bright metallic color. There is no sand, oxide layer, rust, oil spots, etc. on the surface of the substrate.

3. The spray gun should maintain a right angle with the coating surface. The speed of the spray gun should be appropriate. If it is too fast, the paint will adhere less and the surface will be rough. If it is too slow, the paint will adhere more easily and sag.

4. The alkyd anti-rust paint is sprayed 1-2 times with an interval of 4 hours. After the construction is completed, it takes 24 hours to ensure that it is dry.

5. Use thinner to clean the residual paint in the spray gun, use a spray gun brush and solvent to clean the nozzle, and use a rag soaked in thinner to clean the outside of the gun body.

6. Spraying reference: The coating rate is two times of spraying, about 5 square meters per kilogram, and the thickness of the paint film is 25-30 microns for one time.

9. Precautions

4. The thinner mainly adjusts the workability and drying speed of the paint. The amount of thinner is different according to the construction conditions, temperature and paint type.

5. After the construction is completed, the workpiece should be left for more than 7 days to allow the paint to dry completely before it can be put into use.

10. Storage

1. Paints and thinners should be sealed and stored in a cool place, protected from fire, leakage, sun protection, high temperature, and away from fire sources.

2. The paint storage period is more than one year.

3. After the paint is opened, it should be fully stirred to prevent the pigment from sinking to the bottom and causing color difference.

4. If there are dust, particles, oil stains and other attachments on the surface of the workpiece, the appearance will be damaged, so it should be cleaned before spraying.

5. Due to different plastic substrates, it should be fully tested before spraying, so as not to affect the paint adhesion.

6. During construction, please do the relevant labor protection. The skin contact coating can be washed with washing powder and water. If you feel unwell, please seek medical help.
