1. Introduction:
A boiler is an energy conversion device. The energy input to the boiler includes chemical energy from fuel and electrical energy. The boiler outputs steam, high-temperature boiler water, or organic heat carriers with certain thermal energy. Boilers operate at temperatures above 1000℃, with a strong oxidizing atmosphere and severe corrosion, requiring materials with long lifespans. Experts from Jiangmen Tufeng Chemical Boiler High-Temperature Coatings suggest that for such boiler operating conditions, high-temperature boiler coatings must be applied as essential materials for boiler operation or for protecting boiler materials and saving energy.
Among high-temperature boiler coatings, thermal insulation coating: DB-11M1088 Boiler Resistant
High-Temperature Thermal Insulation Coating , temperature resistance up to 1000℃, can directly face flame for long-term exposure, excellent thermal insulation rate. The coating's thermal conductivity is only 0.03W/m.K, effectively inhibiting and shielding infrared radiation heat and heat conduction. The thermal insulation inhibition efficiency can reach about 90%, inhibiting heat radiation and conduction loss from high-temperature boiler objects. It is insulating, pressure-resistant, re-processable after curing, easy to apply on irregular objects, and Jiangmen Tufeng Chemical coatings can be directly applied to the object's surface.
2. Composition:
The high-temperature boiler specific paint is composed of high-temperature inorganic epoxy silicate resin, aluminum powder paste, and other raw materials. It is a two-component, high-heat oxidation protective coating.
3. Uses:
1. Boilers, pipes, car exhaust pipes, burners, molds;
2. Electric furnaces, induction furnaces, electric heating elements, rotary kilns, tanks, enclosures;
3. Small home appliances, kitchenware, induction cookers, etc.;
4. E-cigarettes, 3D printing heating element insulation parts, chemical, metallurgical high-temperature components.
4. Test Results:
Applying it on the surface of high-temperature pipes, equipment, furnace chambers (inside and outside), and containers can effectively inhibit heat radiation and heat loss.
When 8mm of coating is applied to an object's surface at 1100℃, the object's surface temperature can be reduced to below 100℃.
2. Applying only 6mm thick high-temperature thermal insulation coating on the inner and outer surfaces of the furnace kiln can reduce heat loss by more than 30%.
3. Applying it to the inner wall of the furnace or kiln will result in a smoother surface than any other material and will have flame infrared reflection capabilities, reducing heat absorption by the furnace wall and increasing the flame temperature inside the furnace.
4. Applying 10mm thick high-temperature thermal insulation coating to a box at -30℃ will keep the temperature inside the box no higher than 0℃ for 24 hours.
5. The coating has zero chloride ion content and also prevents moist chlorides and sulfides in the air or process from contacting metal surfaces, providing excellent corrosion protection for metals and preventing embrittlement of metal welds.
6. The coating can be used on flues, air ducts, baffles, etc., and has excellent wear resistance and impact resistance.
7. The coating has a very high insulation coefficient, providing excellent insulation performance at high temperatures.
8. The coating has no odor, does not deform, and does not decompose at high temperatures.
5. Product Features:
High-temperature thermal insulation coating has features such as crack resistance, fire resistance, sound insulation, flame retardancy, insulation, wear resistance, light weight, easy application, and long service life.
1. Thermal Insulation: Effectively prevents heat transfer, continuously maintaining the object's inherent temperature and energy, such as heat insulation, thermal preservation, cold preservation, and antifreeze.
2. Adhesion: 100% adhesion, strong bonding force, can completely bond with the substance, firmly adhering to the object's surface.
3. Expansion/Contraction Resistance: Prevents substrate expansion and contraction due to cold/heat at different temperatures, with good tensile strength and elasticity.
4. Hazards: No odor, does not contain or produce harmful VOC substances, carcinogenic substances, and other harmful polymers, decomposition products, and by-products.
5. Stability: Stable chemical properties, does not react with any substance, unaffected by acids, alkalis, and corrosive substances.
6. Wear Resistance: The coating's ceramic particles are densely packed, and the solvent is compounded and reinforced, resulting in good wear resistance.
7. Excellent Toughness: Effectively prevents breakage caused by impact during use.
6. Instructions for Use:
1. Paint Ratio: [Paint 5 kg: Curing Agent 1 kg: Thinner 1-3 kg]
2. Preparation Before Application
Coating Preparation: Use the coating directly after it is evenly dispersed (no sedimentation). For long-duration application, stir continuously during the process to ensure coating uniformity.
Substrate Cleaning: Degrease and derust, surface roughness 30-60 micrometers. The object's surface must be clean and dry, free from water or other substances, otherwise, it will affect the coating's effectiveness or even render it unusable.
3. Application Methods (The following application methods can be used interchangeably as needed)
Brush Application: Apply evenly with a medium-soft brush.
Roller Application: Apply evenly with a roller.
4. Application Tool Handling and Coating Treatment
Application Tools: After cleaning with anhydrous ethanol or thinner, rinse with clean water, blow dry with compressed air, and store.
Coating treatment: Apply to an appropriate thickness according to actual heat insulation and anti-corrosion needs, then heat for quick drying or air dry at room temperature.
VII. Precautions
1. The main paint and thinner should be sealed and stored in a cool place, fireproof, leak-proof, sun-proof, high-temperature resistant, and away from fire sources.
2. After opening the can, the product should be thoroughly stirred evenly. Do not mix bottom residue from the can into the color mixing tank, as it may cause pigment to settle and color differences. 3. The mixture of main paint and hardener must be used within 4 hours to avoid affecting the effect.
4. Do not mix with paints from other brands for construction, otherwise adverse consequences or losses may occur.
5. During construction, please take appropriate labor protection measures. If paint contacts skin, it can be washed with laundry detergent and water. If you feel unwell, please seek medical help.
6. Disposal of construction waste materials must comply with environmental protection requirements. Please do not discard them randomly.
VIII. Safety Protection
The construction site should have good ventilation equipment. Operators should wear protective gear such as glasses and gloves to avoid skin contact and inhalation of paint.
